Preparing for your appointment day.
Your pet should not have breakfast the morning of your appointment but should always have access to water. This decreases the risk of vomiting with surgery.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for your drop off time to make sure you are on time for your drop off. Pets that arrive late may not be able to be accommodated due to the anesthesia and surgical recovery time requirements.
All dogs need to be secured on a leash and all cats need to be in a carrier prior to arrival. Do not let them out of the car if you do not have them secured. We strongly recommend a slip lead for dogs and wire or plastic carriers for cats. Yanapana Veterinary Services is not responsible for any outcomes that result from failure to secure your pet as recommended.
All pets that are sterilized through Yanapana Veterinary Services will receive a small tattoo in or next to their surgical skin incision to indicate they are spayed or neutered. No exceptions.
Yanapana Veterinary Service is a mobile unit and we have to get back to our family and pets. It is very important pets are picked up on time. Failure to arrive at your designated pick up time will result in late fees to compensate for the extra time and effort that is involved in continuing to care for your pet beyond the scheduled time.
